Joe Rommel, April 1987 - July 2009

Coconino County Search and Rescue is dedicating this page to the memory of Joe Rommel. Joining our unit in late 2005, Joe has earned his Wilderness Search Tech 1, Rock Rescue Tech, Snow and Ice Rescue Tech, and is certified as an EMT. Joe made a favorable impression on everyone he worked with, and made huge contributions to our organization by donating a great deal of his time. We will miss his calm demeanor, purposeful composure, subtle humor and his propensity for gear.

Here are some images of Joe during search missions and tech-team training.
