Scott Baker who is a long time resident of Coconino County and a valued member of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Unit was seriously injured in a construction accident that recently occurred. He is being treated for spinal cord injuries at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Phoenix Arizona. Although his loved ones and his fellow Search and Rescue members wish him a speedy recovery it will be a long and challenging process. Scott Baker has been a member of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Search and Unit for more than twenty-five years and has volunteered thousands of hours and responded to countless life saving missions to locate and rescue lost and stranded individuals. Scott Baker who is there at odd times of the day and night in all types of weather conditions to rescue his fellow man is now in desperate need of finical assistance that will help defray some of his extensive medical costs. The Scott Baker Medical Donation Fund (Account # 11008719) has been established at the Arizona Central Credit Unit. This account will remain open for ninety days. Community members wishing to contribute to the fund may go to either Flagstaff Branch located at 2521 North West Street or at the intersection of Woodlands Boulevard and University Drive.
